60′s & Beyond Notable Event – March 22nd

Formed in 1964, The Who performed for the 1st time on a US stage at the Paramount Theater in New York City in 1967. The rise to fame in the US came when they performed at the Monterey Pop Festival later in 1967. Of course you can’t forget their Woodstock performance in 1969. The rest is history!
